The Science Fair Project -
Part 2
When I last left you, I was overwhelmed and intimidated by the thought of completing a science fair project, I mean...Hagen completing a science fair project. It was clear when I googled the topic, I was going to fail. But then I put on my project manager hat and did what PMs do, we break it down. Step #1 - what type of project are we going to do. There are three choices: a. classification (such as fossils, feathers, rocks) b. research c .experiment I know Hagen is my child when given his choices he provides the following response: "We don't have anything to classify and an experiement seems like too much work so let's do research. You can't argue with the data." Research it is. Let's pick a topic. Ahhh...we got one...now let's start researching. We are going to "research" this weekend. I will let you know how it goes....ORRRRRRR we may get distracted by this... Did you know Colton gets his lovin on the run?

Derita tanpa kacamata???
Sejak pertengahan tahun 2004 saya memulai menggunakan kacamata (minus setengah). Awalnya iseng, eh akhirnya keterusan. Yah dapat diakui bahwa ternyata menggunakan kacamata sejatinya membuat buDhi memnjadi lebih intelek. Kalau nambah kegantengan dikit ajah, karena budhi udah ganteng sejak awal... hi..hi..hi... narsis dikit... Nah sekarang kacamata adalah benda berharga bagi buDhi, bukan untuk sekedar gaya-gayaan. Tapi lebih tepatnya kebutuhan. Kebutuhan bagi penderita miopi seperti buDhi, dimana penderita miopi kesulitan kalau melihat objek jarak jauh jadi tidak fokus atau buram, contohnya jika sebuah objek gambar diberi efek pada aplikasi photosop dengan efek blur. Gejala myopia sebenarnya adalah gejala umum di kebanyakan orang, apalagi kalau pekerjaannya selalu melek didepan komputer, depan tiVi, baca buku sambil tiduran, dan aktifitas mata dengan melihat objek yang sama terus-menerus juga dapat mengakibatkan mata menjadi kurang baik atau cepat lelah.... Pernah semasa pemerintahan seorang khalifah (saya lupa namanya – tapi kalau tak silap saya al-Makmun) seorang perempuan tua Islam yang tinggal di negara bukan Islam telah terjatuh di pasar. Semasa jatuh, auratnya telah terbuka. Jadi beberapa orang lelaki bukan Islam telah mentertawakannya. Perempuan tua itu telah menulis surat kepada khalifah tersebut dan menceritakan peristiwa yang menimpanya. Jadi khalifah itu mengutus surat kepada kerajaan bukan Islam itu dan mendesak supaya mereka yang bertanggungjawab mentertawakan itu memohon maaf kepada perempuan tua itu. A Bad Day at Hawgtown
My computer is ailing and I fear I made things worse by applying my own doctoring care. I really don't have a psychology degree in computers but applied my logic as best I could. I don't have a degree or doctorate in computer surgery but may have to apply that non talent as well. Doing nothing hasn't helped and I cant afford a technician to tinker with that stuff. Yeah, yeah, I know - it would be cheaper to pay a technician rather than end up killing the computer and have to buy a new one. Thing is - if this one goes down, I wont be buying a new one. This is the end of the line. Suddenly the thing downloads slow as Dial-Up connections. The ISP ran tests and said the replacement modem they sent because of frequent drop off connections, is reporting better than average speeds when they sent and received data packets. They suggested it was my computer in some way shape or form. Anything from malware, spyware to an Ethernet card on the revolt. I used my OEM Windows restore disk... (more)

Leyendo los últimos dos capítulos (79,80) que han salido del manga de Nana no he podido contenerme las lágrimas. Es curioso el hecho de que algo ficticio me ponga mal, si, me sentí toda triste por un rato, díganme loca, friki, lo que quieran... realmente me vale o.o Basta un atardecer y una palmera al fondo para que me invada de forma arrolladora la nostalgia, hay algo que añoro con todas mis fuerzas y después de 12 años aún no puedo descubrir qué es... Malditos fantasmas...
